Another amazing feature of Tela Magic is that it comes in an airless pump package.  This means the container requires no air intake to dispense the product.  No air gets into the bottle therefore no air contacts the actual product.  So why is this a benefit?  It helps preserve the life of the product by keeping air out.  Let’s look at the big picture…

Keeping formulas fresh has always been a priority at Philip Pelusi.  Philip uses only a small amount of a safe preservative system, enough to keep his formulas fresh while never interfering with the formula’s performance or safety.  Each formula is delicately balanced.  This can be challenging with certain formulas that contain so many organic ingredients such as Tela Magic, Color Lock+ and Cashmere.  So, they are bottled in airless pump packaging.

But not every Philip Pelusi product comes in an airless pump.  Why?  Because not every product needs to be in airless pump packaging for preservation and because not every product can easily dispense from an airless pump.  All Philip Pelusi formulas have a very long life, generally 3 – 5 years after they are opened and 7 years unopened.  Especially when products are stored in a room temperature environment with the lid on or the cap closed.

Also, an airless pump doesn’t leave any of the product unused.  A plate pushes, or “lifts” the product up from the bottom of the bottle until it is all completely dispensed.  And it is an environmentally friendly package as is all Philip Pelusi packaging.
