I have been with the company for two wonderful years and have been fortunate enough to participate in the many trainings that Philip Pelusi has to offer! These trainings allow me to help my fellow stylists and actually see the results of my efforts in helping them grow their careers as stylists. I am incredibly grateful to have the chance to go down to the Center for Training and Development and showcase my knowledge. This lets me see that others see value in what I do. More importantly, I am able to expand my knowledge through the great questions and comments that other stylists ask.
Products and sales are my favorite things to teach because sending Guests home with the right products is a fantastic way to build trust between you and your Guest. Having the right products also allows them to care for their hair properly and preserve all of the creativity we as stylists put into our work. Coloring services are my favorite to perform and having the right products for at-home care is essential to keeping it looking great! Having the knowledge to perform complex services, answer product questions, or make product suggestions, all the while having fun with our Guests, not only gives them the total salon experience, but it can really make our day as well!
