“I am a cancer survivor – or at least a person in remission. I have written a book and am raising money for a cancer research fund – that’s where Pelusi’s comes into this story.
I travel around the tri-state area speaking to groups and I needed a “new” look. One night as I was having dinner on the Strip I saw a woman with a fantastic haircut – I went up to her how much I admired her hair. She was from California and was amazed at the friendliness of we Pittsburghers.

I made an appointment at Philip Pelusi in Cranberry and there’s where I met Brandi. I explained the haircut, she explained how it was called an “under-cut” -the process seemed very strange to me, but I gave it a try. After losing my hair during chemo treatments I figured what was there to lose??? So cut she did, and after each appointment my hair started looking better and better until here I am with a great haircut and a great stylist! Not only is Brandi great but Crystal – one of the ladies at the desk – also is wonderful. From the start she made me a part of the Pelusi “family” and I look forward to seeing these “friends” each time I walk through the door.

Growing up in Pittsburgh I remember my mother always talking about the Pelusi salons –  now I understand why!!!”
