A Philip Pelusi Micro Class – Philip’s Sugar Cane Cleanse

Through the use of the high technology of Microemulsion, Philip created one of his many proprietary blends called Pelusi Sugar Cane Cleanse which is present in just about every P2 and Tela Shampoo.

This special blend consists of Sugar Cane (Saccharum Officarum Extract), Sugar Maple (Acer Saccharum Extract), Apple (Pyrus malus Fruit Extract) and Bilberry (Vaccinum Myrtillis), all of which benefit the hair and scalp in several ways.

These natural fruit acid extracts act as gentle cleaners, scalp exfoliators, color protectants and hair strengtheners. The Pelusi Sugar Cane Cleanse cleanses the hair and scalp without harmful surfactants leaving hair feeling hydrated with lustrous shine and color protection.

This highly specialized microemulsion is buffered to the same pH as the acid mantle of the scalp, a pH of 5.5. This helps reduce oiliness, as the shampoo and the scalp are in harmony.

Also, because these are fruit acids they naturally exfoliate dead skin cells from the face and body. Oils become entrapped in the clusters of dead skin cells. These fruit acids help loosen these dead skin cells which in turn help the shampoo cleansing agents to remove this debris.
