Update for Philip Pelusi Employees

Posted on Posted in Uncategorized

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to share an update with all the Philip Pelusi Employees.

As you have surely heard, we are still in total shutdown mode through May 8th.

Sometime this week or the beginning of next week, we should be hearing more of the re-opening plan from the Governor’s Office. We know that it will be done in stages, however there has been no word as to whether Salons will be in the first stage at this point.

We are have been working diligently to procure all of the supplies that we will need once we are permitted to reopen.

We have already ordered and received face masks for use by our employees.

We have placed additional orders for Barbicide, Hand Sanitizer, and Gloves which we know will be in great demand.

We are sourcing out Alcohol, Bleach, and other supplies which we think will be needed as well.

I will be meeting with the State Board of Cosmetology on April 28th for the inspection of our new salon at “The Block” in the North Hills. This way the new salon will be cleared to open as soon as we get the authorization.

If you haven’t gone to the Barbicide website to take their Sanitation Certification Course, I highly recommend that you consider doing so. You will notice that Salons and Stylists are posting a picture of the Certificate on Instagram and Facebook in order to help their Guests feel confident that they are knowledgeable about, and will be following all recommended safety practices when re-opening

The link to the website is: https://barbicide.com/certification/

Please be safe and know that we all look forward to getting back to creating great hair for our Guests.

John
